NOSE SHOP TAKANAWA
The interior design of NOSE SHOP TAKANAWA, which exclusively sells niche fragrances.

Inspired by the brand concept “Follow your NOSE.”, the design envisions a space that naturally invites visitors to explore fragrances. The layout encourages new discoveries and chance encounters, reflecting the atmosphere of Takanawa, an area under redevelopment.
In previous stores, fragrances were displayed in straight lines, offering the pleasure of comparing a wide range of scents. While inheriting that feature, this store translates the experience into a more organic form. The curved fixtures create subtle changes in visibility, allowing visitors to discover fragrances they may not notice at first. The arrangement and height differences of the fixtures make circulation itself a part of the discovery experience.
The motif of the main curved fixture was inspired by the “organ,” a round table used in perfumers’ ateliers. Its circular form has been expanded to let multiple people enjoy fragrances together. The gentle curves bring a sense of intimacy between people and fragrances, enriching the sensory experience.
The main materials are the gray textured paint on the fixtures and the green flooring. Both have soft, nuanced textures that highlight the fragrances and create a calm, layered atmosphere.
Although located in an open island-like zone without walls, the organically curved fixtures define the space with a strong presence. The open layout, approachable from all directions, creates a lively place where many visitors gather to enjoy fragrances.
