Connecting Furniture for POP-UP Space
Connecting furniture for pop-up space.

Various pop-up events for office workers are held on the office floor of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya. This furniture is designed to be able to be freely connected and rearranged to accommodate a variety of events. Although there are only two types, straight and curved, a new space is created each time by combining them.
The edges of the wooden furniture have green lines reminiscent of nearby Hibiya Park. The green line emphasizes the connection of the shelves. As a result, the fluidity of space increases. The vertical members are set back slightly to emphasize the flow of the horizontal plane. In addition, the shelves are shaped like a tray with a slight recess to prevent items on display from falling. We responded to the high-quality atmosphere of the facility’s environment with a series of detailed innovations.
