REFLECTION / SHADOW
We were in charge of the branding design for YOKOHAMA MAKERS VILLAGE, a creative team of metal processing companies in Yokohama. We were in charge of the design direction, exhibition space, and art direction.
「REFLECTION / SHADOW home accessories collection」
A collection of home accessories that express reflections and shadows, and the beauty of metal. The phenomenon shown by lightning affects not only the lighted stuff but also the surrounding space. It was aimed to vividly convey the essential charm of the metal.
The exhibition space where REFLECTION / SHADOW home accessories collection was displayed at Superstudio Più in Milan, Italy. In order to more vividly convey the theme of reflection and shadow, darkness was created to have visitors’ eyes attracted towards the work. Only with a little light of indirect lighting, it was finished with a sophisticated impression.The main visual was created based on two essential colors, yellow and gray, that symbolize reflection and shadow.
