ICOM 2019 Kyoto – Museum Fair and Expo Forum –

Design Collaboration with AXIS Inc. Exhibition booth design at the Museum Fair and Expo Forum, which conveys the appeal of the Artison Museum that will open in 2020.

It is a plan that allows access from multiple directions by scattering multiple furniture. In order to enhance the booth’s attractiveness without enclosing it with walls, the whole is composed of high quality matte P tiles. To remind visitors of the newly built museum, the joints of the P tiles follow the facade grid pattern. All fixtures have storage with inconspicuous doors that make use of joints, so that the entire booth can be used as an exhibition space. In addition, it is a space that conveys the organized beauty of the museum by combining the same materials, from wall-like elements that monitors to table like elements for business talks.
