Exhibition booth design for bird and insect, a creative studio specializing in photography and film, at CONTENT TOKYO 2025.
After participating in several previous trade shows, the company took an experimental approach this time. Instead of explaining services in detail, the booth presented a “solo exhibition” by the creators from bird and insect, showcasing the essence of their creativity and the striking visual quality of their work.To help visitors focus on each piece, the exhibition space was designed as a device to separate perception from the busy environment of the hall. Conventional elements such as high signage and standard lighting were set aside, and linear lighting was arranged diagonally in rhythmic patterns. The bright light draws attention from afar, but disappears from view when standing in front of the photography and film works, allowing the black backdrop to welcome visitors.A corner of the booth included a shop selling original goods, complementing the exhibition experience. The space reflects the company’s approach of shifting perspectives and focusing on the essence of things.
