FLOWER / METAL
We were responsible for the branding design for YOKOHAMA MAKERS VILLAGE, a creative team of metal processing companies in Yokohama. We were in charge of design direction, exhibition space, product design, and art direction.
exhibition space design
The exhibition space where FLOWER/METAL flower vase collection was displayed at Superstudio Più in Milan, Italy. As a scene with flower vase, fixtures that look like tablecloths were created. A couple of parts which imply the process of its production can be seen from the gap where the metal-made tablecloth has been moved over a little.
product design
A flower-based collection that expresses the beauty of a combination of flowers and metal. Flowers and metals are in stark contrast in terms of softness and hardness, lightness and weight. With a variety of processing methods, we have created a wide range of expressions, such as complementing each other and cuddling with each other.
graphic design
The main visual was created based on two essential colors, pink and gray, that symbolize flower and metal.
