Drawer case collection (New edition)
The Drawer case collection, first introduced in 2016, is a collection of cases in which an aluminum box is drawn out from a leather sleeve for use. Over the past 10 years of continuous updates, a multi case has now been added to the collection.
The collection achieves a sense of unity through the refined craftsmanship of the leather and the anodized aluminum finish, despite combining different materials.
The card case was developed starting from its use as a business card holder, addressing a contradiction: leather alone may cause business cards to bend, while aluminum alone may risk damaging other belongings. This was resolved through a combination of different materials, each suited to its specific role. This structure was further developed into a pen case. Its box-like form allows pens to be neatly and intuitively stored, while the interior is lined with leather, achieving a balance between a rigid impression and a soft, protective interior.
The multi case is a minimal box that allows one to appreciate the expression of the materials, while featuring a slit on one side of the leather sleeve. By placing the slit side facing upward, it can also be used as a tissue case. The Drawer case collection continues to evolve as a collection that expands its range of uses through the universal combination of materials.
