NEO Skin Clinic Ginza

Interior design for NEO Skin Clinic Ginza responds to the philosophy of “facing one’s essence.”

The project proposes a quiet spatial environment. The design considers the doors between rooms not only as functional openings, but also as symbolic elements of the spatial experience. The arched doors use a concealed track system and stand without being framed by walls or door frames. The distinctive doors mark the moment of transition into a new sense of self. They continue along a long corridor, creating a rhythmic and spatially deep sequence of scenes.

Upon entering the space, visitors are first welcomed by a reception counter that feels like a large, reassuring stone. Alongside the long corridor, they are guided toward the lounge. The lounge is composed of a long wooden table and a sofa area softly divided by carpet. It is planned so that visitors can spend their time individually while maintaining a natural sense of privacy within a single large space.

The entire space is composed of layered yet unified elements. A greige-based nuanced color palette, furniture with natural forms and smooth textures, and dispersed lighting create an experience of “extraordinary time within everyday continuity.” Details such as mirror frames, side tables, door handles, and signage are unified in champagne gold, bringing a quiet sense of refinement.

The rooms beyond the doors are designed with different functions. Some are calm, focused rooms for conversation, while others are more private rooms equipped with dedicated dressers and corner tables. Powder rooms and waiting rooms are articulated through arched forms, ensuring that each individual’s time is spatially secured.

Through delicate control of color and light, and the accumulation of material and detail, the design aims to create a space that brings clarity and calm to the mind. The concept is intended to be expanded to other locations in the future, with scalability considered in the design.
